Visited Jason Mehl's shows months ago and never posted pictures. His show was presented by Rachel Nash Gallery and featured amazing mixes of wood, clay, bronze, rope, and other elements of earth. What really intrigued me about the work was the use of chains, tension, and angles to imply weight. Many of this pieces were very light weight but the way they were executed made everything seem weighed down. So how the most impressive sculpture work I've seen in person.
